Rain Rain Rain..An end to the scorching heat and sweaty nights..It feels refreshing most of the times..
Reminds me of how people wait for the monsoon to arrive.. be it to escape the summers, or for fertile lands..
Here's a poem I have written very very long ago during the onset of monsoon:
Such a nice weather,
Makes me feel so good altogether,
Wish you were here beside me,
To enjoy this beautiful moment with me,
It's so dark and romantic,
Of all kinds, this would surely be my pick,
It's raining lightly,
That just adds to the effect perfectly,
Standing outside and staring at the stars,
Don't you think it is just the ideal way to spend the night away.:)
But monsoon also means, more traffic jams on the roads, crowded streets and tension filled people, ready to explode on the slightest touch..Mud filled roads, flooded with water, potholes..But life goes on-the classes, the meetings, the appointments....
There are always two sides to a coin..and the grass on the other side is always greener..in summer you want winter and vice versa but are never satisfied with what you have.. It is just human tendency..
Let us enjoy only the positiveness of the present, and stop yearning for the future..
Make the most of now! :)
