I would like to tell you guys about my trip a few days back..I went to RJY and CCT..Boarded a train here at around 9.15..I went with my relatives sans my parents to this trip.. Three of us cousins formed a group and we've been together the whole time..from the banks of Godavari to the beach of CCT..We became even closer in the span of these two days..
I couldn't sleep much in the train..and hence in the morning, I was lucky enough to see a full rainbow, with all its 7 colours very distinct..It was an awesome sight :)..
We got down at RJY, went to a relatives' place, who lived there, had our breakfast and started out to have a bath in the Godavari river.. It was the first time for us kids and we were hyper excited.. We were wading through the water till a depth of around 5 feet perhaps..All of us were splashing water, jumping up and down..It was utterly beautiful and fun!
After a while, I got to see my grandmother's village..It is a very small village near the Godavari and I was going there for the very first time..Nobody from our family lives there anymore so I never had the opportunity to see it..All I could see around me were, greenery on all sides, a crystal clear blue sky above us, thatched houses..It filled our hearts with happiness to see that luscious green and the tempting blue sky..It was something different from our concrete jungle and polluted skies..It felt rejuvenating and refreshing..I loved every moment of that trip..
Afterwards we went to CCT, directly to the wedding hall..I have been to CCT when I was in my 2nd class or so..My Uncle and Aunt used to live there..It was a 2 hrs journey and it was tiring as well as interesting..We then had a late lunch and started off to rest in the rooms given to us..Then we attended some events of the wedding and slept soundly as soon as our heads touched the pillows..
Early next morning at around 8 in the morning, we reached the hall to witness the wedding..and after lunch, we went to visit the CCT beach..How many beaches you see, and how many times you have seen the very same beach, it is always exhilarating to go again :) We went knee deep into the water..It was the first time for my cousins to walk into a beach and excitement could clearly be seen on their faces..We even saw an Industrial park spread over many acres..It was personally more delighting for me to look at those industries coz thats my line of work :)
We returned to our rooms, to pass time for another two hours before we had to board the train.. The old, the middle-aged and the kids seperated into groups (again men and women seperately :P) as each group's topic of discussion was entirely different..At the end we got into the train and slept soundly till we reached home sweet home in the morning..
Overall I didn't expect much in this trip, coz the people who were getting married were strangers to me..but it definitely proved me wrong and one of the reasons were my cousins and all the relatives who came along with me! :) Thanks to you guys, the trip was so much more fun than it can ever be ! :)
